Comments:
Appears to be a completely original Motobecane Team Champion. I originally thought these bikes to be contemporary with the Motobecane – La Redoute Team bicycles of 1980 to 1984, but research indicates that the Motobecane Team Champion bikes made in those years were exactly like the team bikes, so I conclude that they were made after 1984, the last year of the team, or else were made for specific markets where team replica bicycles of that model name were not available. I have written an article about the changes and differences between the different models HERE.
