Comments:

Mick Stallard was the son of Percy Stallard, who was a key figure in establishing road racing in Britain.  It seems like Mick Stallard regularly raced on Falcon bikes (see bottom picture on this page from 1964) and he ultimately turned professional with the Falcon team.  “Falcon San Remo Equipe” generally conjures up visions of the later pale blue, fully Campagnolo-equipped bikes of the late 1960s, early 70s, but for a few years in the first half of the 1960s, the team (Equipe) used Huret gears as on this bike, together with a number of Campagnolo components.  The frame of this bike changed hands a couple of times and is now built up with a few deviations from the original specification.
